The jazz combo course aims to create an environment for exchange and sharing between different instrumentalists. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants will be encouraged to play and improvise on different repertoire pieces. You will learn the different aspects of collective playing and deepen the quality of your interactions between musicians. A concert containing the pieces learned will take place at the end of the session.
Required level and sample repertoire
Jazz combo I, beginner level
Example pieces: Equinox, Footprints, Freddie Freeloader, Autumn Leaves, Blue Bossa.
Combo jazz II, intermediate level
Example pieces: All the things you are, Killer Joe, Au Privave, My Funny Valentine
Combo jazz III, advanced level
Example pieces: Recordame, Invitation, Body & Soul, Along Came Betty, Fee Fi Fo Fum
