Introduction to choral singing
The Children’s Choir aims to introduce children and teenagers to a variety of music through the most natural instrument of all: the human voice. Two approaches will be used in this course so that the young people have a complete and solid basic training which will help in any other subsequent musical activities. They will work by imitation, repeating musical fragments they will hear, joining them to learn complete works. They will also be introduced to written music and will sing short theory exercises. The choir will present two short concerts during the year.
The choir will keep a fun atmosphere so the children learn to love music. Learning music in group will be an important asset in motivating and convincing them that choral singing can be infinitely pleasant.
