Amélie Baland Capdet's musical journey began at an early age. She started playing the piano at the age of 4 and then continued her studies at the Le Plateau school where she studied the violin, then at Joseph-François Perrault high school, where she learned the viola. It was by joining the choir Les Petites Voix du Plateau that she discovered her true passion: singing. She is currently studying voice at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal. When she's not singing, Amélie hits the ski slopes. She is also very involved with preschool skiers as an instructor and supervisor. Her experience with young people and her love of music make her an endearing and dynamic teacher. Since the spring of 2022, Amélie has been teaching éveil musical at the Coopérative des professeurs de musique.
