Teaching at:
- 4220, rue Drolet, Montréal
- Plateau Mont-Royal
Chiara Rousseau-Siehoff began playing the piano at the age of four and went on to study classical and jazz at the Conservatoire de Nantes. Bilingual in French and German, she continued her studies in instrumental pedagogy at the Musikhochschule Köln in Germany, under the guidance of Florence Millet. She also took part in several masterclasses and internships with Konrad Elser and Clemens Zeilinger.
Attentive and responsive to her students, she aims to adopt a creative and adaptive approach according to each individual’s needs. In particular, she focuses her dissertation research on physiological-cerebral strategies for learning a piano piece and their transmission during teaching. During her years of study, Chiara made a point of learning different musical styles,
incorporating improvisation and composition. She joined the class of Stephan Görg, who trained her in improvised piano accompaniment, where she also developed her vocal skills.
After obtaining her Bachelor's degree in 2023, the Hochschule Köln entrusted her with the supervision of improvisation and piano accompaniment courses for beginner students.
