Viviane Lafrance, Flute

Viviane Lafrance is a passionate musician who is committed to her community. Originally from Mauricie, she entered the Conservatoire de musique de Trois-Rivières at 12 years old and began a ten year journey that culminated in obtaining a bachelor's degree in performance in 2019.
Enriched by these experiences, Viviane continued her studies at McGill University where she completed a master's degree in interpretation in the classes of Carolyn Christie and Denis Bluteau. During these two years, she joined the ranks of the Symphony Orchestra of the Schulich School of Music of McGill University, participated in master classes and took advantage of the effervescence of the Montreal cultural milieu. With her diploma in hand, Viviane began a career as a freelance musician and is performing with several professional Quebec ensembles.
Finally, Viviane teaches the flute in various primary and secondary schools in Montreal. In her teaching, she wants to share her passion for music in a spirit of conviviality by letting the joy of learning enter her studio.
