Native from Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Marie-Pier starts studying music at 7 years old first with piano and then with singing. She adds trumpet to her instruments when she starts the art vocation high school Camille-Lavoie where she also participates in numerous shows singing, composing and playing piano. But it’s really when she enters “Collège d’Alma” that she finds her passion: Jazz! 

Now Bachelor of a music degree from Montreal University and mother of 2 boys, she dedicates herself to teaching piano, voice and musical initiation at her studio and at daycares for almost 10 years now. Being an improvisation professional, her classes are spontaneous and colourful just like the students who come to play with her!
