Gaël Lane Lépine, Piano
Gaël Lane Lépine just completed a year of training under the tutelage of renowned pianist Menahem Pressler at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. Graduated from the Conservatory of Music of Montreal, he won in 2007 le Prix avec Distinction, specialty piano in the class of André Laplante, and in 2008 graduated from the advanced training in interpretation. He also studied with Suzanne Goyette and Réjean Coallier.
Gaël Lane Lépine followed several training courses at the Orford Arts Centre and the Summer Music Academy and Festival of Toronto, in the classes of Menahem Pressler, André Laplante and Marc Durand. He has also participated in master classes of distinguished French pianist Pascal Rogé and Jean-Philippe Collard.
In 2005, he won the First Prize of the Music Competition of the Repentigny Association for the Advancement of Music (ARAM) in the chamber music category.
In addition to being a happy member of the Cooperative of Music Teachers from Montreal, Gael Lane Lépine often plays in solo and chamber music. Appreciated accompanist, he also participates in projects Chorum Ensemble, a very active group in the world of contemporary music, composed mostly of young musicians.
