Originally from Montreal, Frédérique Le Duc-Moreau began her musical career at Le Plateau school, an elementary school with a musical vocation. In 2012, she joined the international and Arts-Study programs at Joseph-François-Perrault secondary school. His three years with the school's symphony orchestra led him to play in the most prestigious venues, including the Grand Théâtre d'Angers, Bourges Cathedral and Carnegie Hall, as well as to perform in solo during a tour in France. In 2017, Frédérique entered the viola at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal in the class of Jocelyne Bastien. She then began, in addition to her bachelor's degree in performance, a graduate degree in instrumental composition in the class of Jimmie LeBlanc. She obtained these two diplomas in the spring of 2022. In the fall of 2022, she began an international master's degree in screen music composition as part of the InMICS program.

In addition to her studies at the Conservatoire, Frédérique was lucky enough to be selected for numerous internships, including the prestigious Young Artist Program in 2018 under the tutelage of Pinchas Zukerman, the National Youth Orchestra of Canada in 2021, as well as the Domaine Forget chamber orchestra camp in collaboration with Les Violons du Roy in 2019, under the direction of Jonathan Cohen, and in 2021, under the direction of Jean-Marie Zeitouni and Mathieu Lussier. She also had the chance to participate in the Orford Music composition course in the summer of 2021 with masters such as Jocelyn Morlock, Dorothy Chang and Véronique Lacroix.

During her studies, she had the honor of working with many up-and-coming musicians and composing for professional ensembles such as the Ensemble contemporain de Montréal (ECM+), the Quartango ensemble and the Molinari quartet.
