Elissa started playing the piano at the age of 4. She enrolled in the Sulhi al Wadi Conservatory in Syria, and after obtaining a 10-year degree continued her studies at the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus under Professor Victoria Snobar. During that period, she received the 1st and 2nd prize of the International Sulhi al Wadi Piano Competition in two consecutive years. She toured with Al Farah Choir and Eyad Al Rimawi in France (2016) and Syria (2017), and taught privately and in the National Conservatory in Syria. In 2018, she moved to Canada to attend McGill University where she is completing her bachelor’s degree in piano performance under Professor Kyoko Hashimoto.
