Again this year, on the afternoon of December 14, we will offer Coop students an activity that will foster their engagement and commitment: the in-house evaluation. This activity is primarily formative, friendly, and educational. Depending on the student's level, one or two short pieces, as well as technical exercises, will be evaluated qualitatively by Coop teachers.

Students will receive written feedback that offers valuable insights into their work, along with a certificate of participation in the in-house evaluation. Since the evaluation will take place after the Christmas concerts, it’s a second opportunity for students to share the results of their efforts. Discuss with your teacher to see if this activity is right for you.

Students can take an exam based on the following criteria*:

Pianissimo: one short piece and one technical exercise
Mezzo Forte: one piece, one short study, and one technical exercise
Fortissimo: two contrasting pieces and two technical exercises
Sforzando: for those preparing for an audition or exam who have more than two pieces to be evaluated; program at the teacher's discretion

*The exam levels and their criteria are indicative and non-restrictive. We leave it up to the teachers to select the ideal program for their students.

Once registration is complete, student services representatives will contact you to arrange payment for the in-house evaluation fee.
