Originating from Chambly, Vincent Delorme completed his Masters Degree (Spring 2018), at the Conservatory of Music of Montreal, receiving the Viola Speciality Prize and the Chamber Music Speciality Prize, as well as being decorated with the Lieutenant Governor's Youth Medal in recognition of his remarkable involvement in school and the community. Professors such as Jocelyne Bastien, Viola Professor, Denis Brott, Chamber Music Professor, and Eric Lagacé, Jazz Professor, are at the base of his intense artistic inspirations, enriched even more by taking specific courses and Master Classes under international violists such as Antoine Tamestit, James Dunham and Atar Arad.
Impassioned by chamber music, Vincent is, since the past four years, a member of the Andara String Quartet, formation with whom he has taken part in various residencies, seminars and international festivals, learning from European, American and Eastern Masters; to name a few, Johannes Meissl, the members of Cuartetto Quiroga, St-Lawrence String Quartet, Shangai String Quartet and many others.
Currently, Vincent is invested more than ever in rendering music, with the timeless and concrete messages it contains, to the general public, through various projects, be it the Andara String Quartet, the Volte Ensemble, composing, and teaching.
